Building Database

The building database includes historic data on more than four hundred homes and businesses located in the Fargo Renaissance Zone and the Downtown National Register Historic District. Information has been compiled on the date of construction, architect and/or contractor, architectural style, and the original and current uses of the buildings. In addition, any photographs or other scanned historical documents that were available to the researcher have been linked to the properties as well. This section also provides information on how to research the history of a building, and includes maps of the downtown Renaissance Zone area.
This site will continue to evolve as we receive contributions from users. We welcome the submission of additional building information, and we can scan your historic photos of downtown buildings and add those to the site.
