National Register of Historic Places

The National Register of Historic Places is a nationwide resource for historic properties.  You can find basic information on nationally designated Historic Districts as well as guidelines to applying for a historic register designation for a property.

Copies of existing National Register nominations for North Dakota properties are kept in the Historic Preservation Division of the State Historic Society of North Dakota.
