October 29: Due to the extreme amount of rainfall we have received in the past three weeks, all gravel roads and alleys located within the City of Fargo are saturated to the point that maintenance has become almost impossible. With the additional rainfall received today and forecasted rainfall in the near future it will be difficult to add any gravel or effectively blade road surfaces until moisture conditions permit. The Public Works department will continue to try and improve on the current surface conditions throughout this wet cycle but efforts may not be noticeable until drier weather prevails.
