Equipment Technician I - Central Garage
2 temporary part-time (40 hour/week) positions performing mechanical maintenance/repair on all City of Fargo vehicles and equipment. A degree in diesel mechanics or automotive with an emphasis in heavy equipment preferred or 2+ years previous experience performing maintenance/repair, or an equivalent combination of education/experience required. 1 day shift and one swing shift position. Seasonal Survey/Construction Inspectors
Seven qualified individuals to assist in construction of public works projects; construction staking, collecting data, and/or inspection of construction projects to assure compliance with city standards and specifications. Ability to read and orientate blueprint/plan sheets, interpret/apply specifications, organize/record data. Perform repetitive motions, kneeling, walking and general physical labor. 45-60 hr/wk. HS diploma or GED, experience in construction activity or classes in Eng/Construction Mgmt a plus, valid driver’s license required. $9-12/hr DOE.
