Programmer Analyst II (Web Developer)Posting Closes: 2/26/2010
The City of Fargo is currently seeking a Programmer/Analyst who has solid experience with development, programming and web based applications.
Responsibilites include systems analysis, database design, and developing customized solutions. Candidates must have extensive experience with SQL Server and have a deep technical background in web based applications, Classic ASP, ASP.NET, HTML, IIS, VBScript and Javascript. Experience/Knowledge in GIS a plus.

Candidate will create applications, programs and software processes as well as maintain existing applications to support City of Fargo departments and function as a software designer for workflow, scripts and automation processes.

Requires an associate’s degree and 5+ years of experience or a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience, or equivalent. 3505-3836/month, plus benefits. 2 temporary part-time (40 hour/week) positions performing mechanical maintenance/repair on all City of Fargo vehicles and equipment.
