Road closure planned for 25th Street South

Beginning Sunday evening, July 20, the City of Fargo will close 25th Street South between Rose Creek Boulevard and 53rd Avenue South. This closure is due to the ongoing reconstruction of 52nd Avenue South. Project managers expect this closure to remain in place until the end of August. Traffic will be detoured to University Drive (Highway 81) via 40th Avenue and 58th Avenue South.

Additional street closure planned for 52nd Avenue South

Beginning tomorrow (Wednesday July 9), the street closure on 52nd Avenue South will be expanded to 42nd Street through to 47th Street South. This closing is part of the reconstruction work taking place on 52nd Avenue. Traffic will be detoured to 49th Avenue via 42nd Street and 47th Street.

Street closure planned for 52nd Avenue South

52nd Avenue South between 25th and 27th streets will be closed beginning Monday, June 16 in conjunction with the 52nd Avenue reconstruction. Vehicle traffic will be detoured to 53rd Avenue via 25th and 27th streets. This closure is expected to last until August 1.

Street closure planned for 7th Avenue North

7th Avenue North between 45th Street and the Fargo city limits will be closed for reconstruction beginning tomorrow (Tuesday, June 10) and will remain closed until mid-August. Traffic will be detoured to 12th Avenue North via 45th Street and 9th Street Northeast (West Fargo).

Road closure planned for 52nd Avenue South

Beginning Sunday evening, April 20, the City of Fargo will close 52nd Avenue South between University Drive (Highway 81) and 25th Street. This closure is necessary to accommodate the extensive reconstruction planned for 52nd Avenue. Project managers expect this section of 52nd Avenue to remain closed for up to 90 days. Traffic will be detoured to 58th Avenue South via University Drive and 25th Street throughout this closure. The city urges motorists traveling 52nd Avenue South to comply with all posted speed limits in the construction zones. Street closure on 36th Street South

36th Street (I-29 East Frontage Road) between 46th and 52nd Avenue South has been closed to accommodate construction activity associated with the reconstruction of 52nd Avenue South.

Lane reductions planned for 52nd Avenue South

Reconstruction work on the 52nd Avenue South Bridge over Drain 53 will begin impacting traffic Thursday, April 3. Work will begin with the placement of Jersey Barriers to guide traffic around the work site. Once this work is complete, construction of the new bridge over Drain 53 will begin.

Lane reductions planned for 12th Avenue North

Reconstruction work on the 12th Avenue North viaduct near NDSU will begin impacting traffic Tuesday, March 25. Initial lane reductions will be established on both ends of the viaduct to remove guardrail and edge barriers. Once this work is complete and temporary traffic and pedestrian control has been installed, traffic will be shifted to the north half of the structure so expansion of the south driving lanes can begin.
